I use it once a week to keep my hair looking healthy. This clarifying shampoo gets out the styling product residue completely! You use it first before using your regular shampoo or conditioner. The styling products leave a residue that does not come out after shampooing. After daily use of mousses and hair sprays, the top of my hair can look oily even after I just washed and blow dried it. This clarifying shampoo is probably my favorite beauty tip because it works so well. I ended up using about a quarter of a cup of conditioner to try and untangle my hair and a lot of water to rinse it out and then went back to my regular shampoo and the bottle went back to the store for a refund. I could not get my fingers to run through my hair because it became so completely tangled up. This stuff was stuck in my hair, I could not rinse it out. I do not believe it was too much as I use a lot more when using my regular shampoo. I have medium length hair that is thin as opposed to thick so I used an amount between the size of a nickel and a quarter. Most importantly, for some reason I thought I had build up in my hair and should try a clarifying product hence the purchase of said product. I have a sensitive nose, so it could just be me and others might like it.
It is over priced but I thought I would give it a try anyway. Neutrogena Clarifying Shampoo, words cannot begin to describe how much I do not like this shampoo. This shampoo adds back a kick of volume to my fine hair, and I think it does a great job. It removes all of the residue hairsprays, leave in conditioners, and other styling products that weigh down my hair. What I like about this product is it really gives hair a nice clean without stripping it of its natural oils or drying it out. All in all, this is a great product that I will be repurchasing. But this would be a great shampoo for people with normal hair without many hair concerns. I like to use this shampoo about once a week, because it doesn't have any hydrating benefits and it doesn't heal any of my hair damage. I have fine hair that tends to be weighted down easily, and this product does an excellent job giving my hair back its natural volume. I like this shampoo because it really cleans my hair, removing all the built up residue from hair products, without drying out my hair or stripping it of its natural oils. It leaves your hair smelling really nice and lasts throughout the day. It works even better if you pair it with the conditioner. I found it to be highly effective in my hair. It gave me a volume my hair had been lacking.
It gave my hair a deep clean and made it look better than other shampoos. It is certainly worth what you pay for it and I will continue to use it. It is definitely a product I would recommend. I noticed a big improvement in my hair when I started using this shampoo. It gave me body and volume that other shampoos could not give me. It got it really clean and made it look incredible. I have always had a great experience so I decided to give their hair care a try as well.
